What is IELTS – General?

IELTS, the International English Language Testing System, is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. The IELTS General Training test is conducted for those candidates who wish to migrate to an English-speaking country like Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK for work experience, secondary education, or training programs.

  • IELTS- General Length: 2 hours and 45 minutes (Listening, Reading and Writing) + 11-14 minutes (Speaking).
  • IELTS- General Mode: Paper or on a computer.
  • IELTS- General cost: INR 14,700.
  • Highest IELTS- General Score: IELTS 9-Band scale
